Well, trakAxPC might just have cracked it. This application is very user-friendly, which is half the battle. 2010 CX7 74000 miles, extended warrenty up on 8/13/16. Turbo blown, exhaust manifold cracked, $3600 for repairs so far. After reading all these comments I can't trust this vehicle, Mazda, or their shadey dealers. Mazda dosen't seem to take any resposibility for this pile of crap that is a manufacturing defect, turbo is garbage, engine is undersized for this vehicle. Will never have another. I bought a 2007 mazda 3 hatchback from carmax in march 2009 with 23000 miles on it. Took it to monro brake and muffler for the first oil change. 3 months to the day after the oil change at monro the engine blew completely. Took the car to a different monro station close to where it blew up. The service tech there told me that the car had zero oil in it because whoever did the oil change cracked and damaged the oil filter cartridge housing and that's why the engine blew up because it had a slow oil leak due to the damaged housing. He also informed me that monro had received a TSB concerning this issue that not using the correct tool would damage the housing and cause this problem. Realizing that they were responsible, monro paid for a used replacement engine. All of the repair, including locating an engine and changing it was done through Connecticut's Own Mazda. This was the summer of 2009. From that day forward Connecticut's Own Mazda has done every bit of service to my vehicle. Every schedule oil change, brakes, light bulbs, you name it. In April of 2014 the car started making unfavorable engine noises. It was only 1000 miles into its last oil change. So I took it to the Mazda dealership only to be told that these things just happen and I would need a new engine soon. I repeatedly asked the question, "How does this happen on a vehicle that is serviced regularly by the dealership? "No one could give me an answer. They just kept saying "These things happen." Not being satisfied AT ALL with the answer I contacted Mazda USA who contacted the dealership and then so graciously informed me that that there was NOTHING they could do to help me because my vehicle was "Out of Warranty". However if I wanted to purchase a Brand New Engine for close to $6,000 they would take $1,000 off of the price but that was it. Of course this did not include the almost $2,500 installation charge that the dealership wanted to charge me. It gets worse but I don't have time for it all right now. Since all of this I have paid out of pocket (with receipts and bank statements to prove it ) over $4,000 to fix my vehicle through a private mechanic, no thanks to Mazda at all. And on top of that, the power steering is leaking everywhere immediately after the engine rebuild. Mazda is AWFUL. I have researched this issue extensively and found that there are many people with this issue. When I informed Mazda of this they only said; "There is no problem with our 2.3 liter engine and would not stand behind it AT ALL. Something should be done about it and Mazda should be held responsible. Please feel free to use my comments and, or contact me directly. I painted some high heels light pink and they were good for about a week, but they are now chipping. They are especially chipping on the parts that bend when I wear them, but now the stationary parts have started cracking as well. Is there some type of sealant I could spray on top of them that would prevent this if I re paint them?
If it gets too hot, the paint could crack eventually and then peel off. You can try spraying the lamps first with a high heat spray primer and then the copper paint. It is sold where spray paint is sold. It is made for outdoor grills and appliances. Use very light coats and build until you get the color coverage you want. You could also use engine paint.
