You will notice the variable, when adjusting the thermostat setting, the Heat will rise but not the Temp. When you push the Temp, it turns it on that setting. You will notice the Sup threshold on the TC is 4.5C. I have a Therm-A-Vac coming from one of my neighbors and it is at 197, some was heating but the connetor was switching on and off. I cut the wires out on my Therm-A-Vac and it has stayed steady at that temp. If I can get the thermostat up to a temp on my regular heat that is under 80 degrees when on Remote then I will be set. I wish the new TC was near to a window, it is located in the center of the cabin. I can't believe I have a honeywell TC, they seem to have come out of the wood work lately. I wish I could send the TC to you, but I don't have the right cable to send it.
If the original Thermostat is wired properly the final temp will be the same as the original on any given setting. It is the medium temp that determines how much heat your furnace will run. On a low setting the furnace will run around 60 degrees as set by the TC. If you crank it up the heat will increase to around 80. If your furnace is set to 60 degrees the TC will run the heater about as far as it needs to be. I am assuming no electric current from the fan when it is at 60 degrees. The additional heat will raise the TC temp.
If you use your unit as a smart thermostat in your boiler, bracketing them together is simply a matter of using one or more existing wires and bolting the new unit to the last wire on the leads. As a further example and to avoid confusion, if you take a wire from the control panel and wire it into the wall socket adjacent to where the new thermostat is installed, then that wire can simply be disconnected when the box is replaced. d2c66b5586
