I should be your next school prefect because I have all the best things to offer the position and the establishment. To start with, I have an engaging and positive attitude that makes it easy to relate to students and staff. Not only that, but I am cheerful and love to take on new challenges. I have plenty of experience working with others in a leadership role so I am prepared to take on this duty with all the necessary achievements and requirements under my belt.

As a prefect, I want to help the school be the best it can be by partnering with students, staff and parents to ensure that each problem is solved and make the school a fun and educational environment for each and every student that attends. Alabi was the food perfect during his secondary school education. As the food prefect, He was responsible for food quality and sanctioned vendors that fell below standard. During that period, he supervised five (5) food, vendors. He always visited the food stand and tasted the caterer food. The caterers also provided him with a portion of extra food as a reward. Soon, he became the most influential prefect in the school, which may be attributed to his status. Everyone wants to associate with him: the teachers, students, and security.

The remaining caterers were amazed by the school action and baffled by the influence of the food prefect. Consequently, they doubled the extra food they gave him weekly, and he continued to eat free food in the morning, afternoon and night. He even gave food out to friends and family.

A few months later, another vendor decided not to continued the tradition and denied the food prefect for a whole week. He was not happy and queried the second vendor. He further informed the school authority to terminate the vendor contract, and this time around, the school authority did the opposite. The management chose to set up a three-person committee to investigate the issue, and the outcome of the investigation shows that Alabi the Food Perfect was faulty. The school said, we only asked you to taste food and report to the school. As a result, he was stripped of his prefectship, which eventually denied him all the privileges of a food prefect.

Good Afternoon Head of Schools, Vice Principal, Fellow students, Staff, Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Oreoluwa Banji-Baruwa, a year 10 Art student of this great school. I am here before you, today, to present my school prefect manifesto to you. Thank you for nominating and giving me the opportunity to present my manifesto for a school prefect position.

My reasons for wanting to become a prefect are very tangible and varied. First and foremost, I have been privileged to have been moulded by Halifield Schools since January 2005. This makes me a sound product of this school as I possess morals instilled in me through my years here.

Furthermore, I am good at solving problems so if my fellow prefects have any trouble with duties assigned, I will be able to help them out. This will ensure that the student body of the school runs efficiently and as a team, which will reduce the amount of extra work for teachers. As a school prefect, I promise to obey school rules and maintain my academic records. I will be a good ambassador for this school by maintaining order and be willing to take on extra responsibility

I would love to embark on the journey to becoming a prefect and blossom from the effects of this role. This is because Turton has done so much for me and I would love to give some of that help and understanding back to the younger years. A prefect needs to have the qualities of someone who shows confidence when representing the school that I have come to love. They also need a strong understanding of our wonderful school environment and a desire to contribute to its continuing success. I feel I have these attributes.
